Scott, Try using acrylic sandpaper and polish that we use for aquariums. We can take really bad scratches from our acrylic tanks. Just becareful not to polish it to much to distort the overall shape. We start polishing with 2400 grit, 3200 grit, 4000 grit, 6000 grit, 8000 grit, and then we use acrylic polish called novus 3,2, or 1. Where 3 is similar in grit to 8000. If you have fine white scratches left, then the novus 2 will buff these out easily and it will look like new. Novus 1 is called brillianze and we use this daily to clean our acrylic tanks. You should be able to find some of this stuff in your local pet store, or at least find out who to contact in your area. You should be able to buy a small aqaurium polishing kit that will include all of these grits, but the polish will be separate. Hope this helps!!!
