David I think you guys are getting a little too technical. There is a simple = solution. =20 Go to your local gardning store and purchase a cheep pair of cotton = gardening gloves.(Must be a tight weave.) While under water place one = of the gloves over your mouth inflate the glove with air and speak. =20 I did this to an old girl friend of mine, the look on here face was = worth the price of the gloves. It relay works. Give it a try on a long = deco when you have lots of gas. It's not perfect, but it does work! In line signals there are no single 'bells' unless they're preceded by a sequence of couplets. To = give an example - using 'taps' instead of 'Pulls' and 'Bells' - and using the standard line signals. "I am going down." [3 Pulls]. Tap: Tap: Tap. "I want to come up. Assist me up." [ 4 Pulls and 2 bells]. Tap: Tap: = Tap: Tap: Tap-Tap. Best of all it's universal.=20 Tones are good! But why limit yoursef with just a few different size cylinders? Just sling the old xylophone round your neck and you've got = the full Websters dictionary right at your finger tips!:-) David =20 -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@terra.net'.
