They come O2 clean (if you care) and are calibrated in 1000 PSI increments, which is more than enough info for a deco bottle. For cave stage bottles, more accuracy is desirable, since you want to apply the rule of thirds. In that case the best config is to use a real SPG with a short HP hose and bend it back on itself so that the gauge is next to the first stage, right in front of you when you look down at the stage bottle. You can tie it in place with a piece of cave line. No gauge boot is needed. I believe you can see proper stage bottle rigging in the WKPP videos.
