Hi,

Concerning UK-lights: We've had UK 4's and 6's, and many of them have 
leaked through the switch in shallow water (20-35 metres). The problem 
is obviously connected with cold water (0-4deg C). The dealer here in 
Finland refused to have anything to do with those lights, since they 
were bought in UK, so we've had all those "corpses" to do autopsy on. 
The switch is incredibly primitive, and it's a small wonder to me it 
holds water under any circumstances. It's just an o-ring around a screw. 
So, if you plan to dive in cold water, my advice is to avoid UK 
lights that have through-the-case switches. On the other hand, We've 
had a lot of those small UK lights with 4 AA-cells for many years, 
and they've never failed. I for one never leave home without it.
