No, no shrivelling up at all, especially since if I'm going to the ocean
at all I'm looking for a part of it that's a lot warmer than the Great
Lakes.  For cold water there's absolutely no sense paying a lot to get to
it when there's all I could ever want within a few hours drive.

Now I do tend to lean over the side and puke on the way out to an ocean
divesite, after which I'm fine for the rest of the day.  Must be either
the salt or the longer wave action, because I've never ever had to
increase the protein level of any body of freshwater.
