Kevin-

There have been disasters of all kinds with planes, trains, buses,
Zeppelins, etc. What a mess it would be if every disaster was left alone
as some sort of monument to the dead. There would be burnt out buildings,
heaps of rusting metal, piles of bones all over the place.

Those people who died so tragically on the Titanic are gone now, there is
nothing down there worth protecting. In a world getting smaller by the
day, true adventures are getting harder and harder to find. To attempt
the worlds deepest wreck salvage would be quit a trip, one I would not
mind being involved in, thats for sure.

If anything, this fiasco has made a lot of people aware of the wreck and
perhaps to pause a moment and think about the victims. Maybe that's not a
bad thing.
