Do you know of any comparative statistics illustrating the relative risk
of diving CCR's vs. technical OC?  I'd think that the Navy would have
accumulated some usable data by now, but haven't seen any published.

I guess the question is, do rebreathers bite more frequently than OC in
similar exposures?  It's one thing to say that people die using RB's,
another to say they die more frequently than OC divers with the same
exposure.  Has anyone looked at this?  Clearly, a number of people have
also been 'biten' by OC over the years, it's hard to reason about this
subject without considering the relative frequency of the events.
