Rod - There's a large reality gap here I think. I talked with a fellow in Kona last week who told me that the TDI requirement was 20 hours for an Instructor Trainer. I thought this was a little low myself but I just smiled and nodded (I have this compulsion to be polite in real life ;). He did meet the first criteria though. Interestingly enough, another guy in the same shop was an ex-military diver with quite a bit of experience on the CCR1000. So where on the west coast would I find someone 1) interested in training rebreather divers and 2) with more than 100 hours of practical experience? Scott. The IANDT/TDI whatever, >training of a rebreather instructor in a two-week course is ludicrous.
