Even with mechanical rebreathers, no one should be considered a rebreather instructor until they 1. own a unit and 2. have 100+ hours in open water dives on the unit- no pool hours should count. The IANDT/TDI whatever, training of a rebreather instructor in a two-week course is ludicrous.
