Rodster, have you tried putting your computer inside your canister? This would keep it warm and wet. Since you already know your profile, why would it make any difference having a continuous monitoring of your deco status, since the machine is holding the PPO2 constant? I know everyone love this shit, but I do not see why we would not just calculate deco the same way, if we know what our effective gas, depth and times are. Who cares about multilevel unless it gives you a deco advantage, and then that is relatively easy to figure on the fly. On long dives, one can not jack the oxygen up anyway, either at the bottom or during the deco, so again the there is ho real need for the deco computer. George M.
