Oh, and not even in full cave do they teach about scooters and sidemount, that is all covered in other courses or by trial and error. Basically, the cave courses are taught in a way that places a high degree of task loading or stress in an effort to make the student understand the need for proper gear,bouyancy,and attitude. That should not be any different than the adv. or deep O.W. stuff, but the cave inst. is in even more of a bind if problems occur. If all instructors were dilligent or had to take cont. ed. credits like medical pro's then the differences would be less. -EZ
