Wayne:

Thanks for your thoughts. I have the feeling though, that you are missing
the point. Obviously you have alot of negative feelings to harbor.

The point is, there are many folks in the wKPP that are dedicated, "NICE"
people. JJ has of recent taken a lot of bashing from people that do not
know him, have never met him and know absolutely nothing about him. This
I can not understand.

It is just too easy to jump on the band wagon just because GMIIII calls
someone a "stroke" and your feelings are hurt. All of a sudden it is the
"WKPP" against the rest of the world. This is not fair to the WKPP nor the
individuals that precipitate the act.

To suggest that the WKPP "dismisses" anyone that is not in their group is
utter nonsense. The WKPP does not turn anyone willing to help out away.
They do require that those interested work as part of the team for the
betterment of the team. Individual agenda are not acceptable. Sitting
around on the shore, shooting the shit while others are supporting the gas
divers, is not acceptable. Social time is reserved for Lucy's, or
George's pool.

The group is diverse. The ages of the team members range from the 20's to
40's. They span the gamut from students to professionals to scientists.
Perhaps instead of finding fault, you should take an open minded approach
and listen to what they are saying.

Please do not take my comments as negative. I am sincerely trying to
portray my experience of recent with the team.

George is mad! He is tired of seeing people kill themselves because of
the stupidity taught by the various agencies and some of their
instructors. Once you have seen the WKPP gas divers do their thing you
will say "of course" now I understand. In fact, the first time I saw JJ
dive I was amazed. He is unbelievable underwater. You would never believe
he has a hundred pounds of equipment strapped on. He is streamlined and
balanced, truly the best.

Perhaps all the postings in the world will not help to put out the flames.
The key is that the WKPP is doing something for the State of Florida that
is beneficially important. Please try to sort through the noise and find
the message. Remember that the WKPP has procedures and policy. The type,
complexity, and risks of their type of diving require strict adherence. No
variations of personal preferences are allowed.
