This is really neat. We need to do more of this kind of thing. We could do
how to properly mount a light, ride a scooter, carry multiple stages, etc.
There are so many misconceptions out there, and this tool may be useful to
eliminate them. Let me know if there is aything that we can draw up. I can draw
it, send it to Bowen, he can make a real drawing, and then we can send it to
Bentley .

Having the drawing we can then discuss it and get the logic down, which is
really what drives it anyway. For example, with the harness, the idea is to
have
the straps hug your body all the way to the lower slot wihtout twisting , and
if
they are in the correct slot, they will hold tight to your chest without a
chest
strap, and at the same time prevent the belt from slipping - if they are in the
wrong slot, the strap will be uncomfortable, it will pull away from your
shoulders when carrying stages, which slows you way down, and the belt will
slip.

The old solution would be to add a cross strap, put on weight stops, put
on
pads to make it feel better, change the position of the backup lights, etc. You
can now see some of the way my thinking works if you can get the idea of one
solution to several problems, rather than several solutions which then
compromise the gear and require more solutions.

You can also now see my frustration with the "personal preference" crowd.
Everything I do is this way, and you will see why when you get into it. This
explains why we can so severely outgun everybody, rather than what you have
been
told by the goobers, which is that I have a bigger risk profile - I have a
bigger brain profile, and it is less risky to me to go 10,000 at 285 than it is
for goobers to go to Pothole.
