Jeff,

In open water between 60' and 130', I wear a 30 cu. ft. pony in addition to my
primary gas supply.
For shallower dives I usually leave the pony behind. For deeper dives I
switch to doubles with
redundant first stages.

Right now I hang the pony on my tank using a Sherwood pony bag, but I really
don't like the bag.
The tiny plastic buckles are too fragile, the thing is a pain to get onto the
tank, and the bag is
starting to come apart. I keep meaning to rig up something new, but I haven't
gotten around to it
yet. Currently I rig it up so the tank valve is at the top and the hose goes
under my right arm.
I clip the reg. to my right shoulder. After reading some of the other
suggestions here, though, I
think I'll try rigging it with the tank valve down to make getting at the valve
a little easier.

Eric
