Hi there, First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Nick, I'm a TDI Instructor Trainer and the managing director of TDI Greece. Reading the messages posted in this list, I've noticed an interest in the possibility of diving the Britanic. Given this opportunity, I would like to inform anyone interested that TDI Greece will organize an expedition to the Britanic in November 1997. The reason for this quite far date is that there are numerous problems that must be solved, like getting the permission from the Greek Goverment, finding sponsors and funds and finally finding the wreck itself. The fact is that there are three different possible locations where the Britanic rests. It is arguable if the Britanic has been dived since Cousteau did, because the few techdivers that say they did have taken no pictures of it. Anyway, to get back to our expedition, we will have in our team the greek diver who joined Cousteau's team back in 1974. We will also hope to have Rob Palmer with us (Rob, remember our conversation at the airport?) and perhaps a few CC rebreather units. Our primary goal is to film the wreck and enter its interior which is something that noone has ever done. Cousteau's team just entered the bridge of the ship. This message posted to Techdiver, is an invitation for expression of interest. If you want, and think you can join our team, just send me an e-mail. I will then be glad to send you more information. Thank you very much, Nick M. Tsikas TDI Instructor Trainer +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Greek Diving Center / TDI Greece Vas.
