I don't agree that dive instructors want to put their students in
the wrong gear.  A good instructor wants the student, and all
divers, in the right gear.  Task overload and all that stuff!

Your gear and configuration are a good approach because you are
following the right engineering philosophy - KISS.

Keep It Simple, Stupid!

Those who are old time engineers should remember that from their
school days.  Never make anything more complicated than is
necessary to get the job done.

BTW, thanks for the harness diagram.  Drawing is not bad, penmanship
leaves a lot to be desired :-)
