       From a purely empirical point of view... the first time I ever even
noticed any narcosis in my diving was when I was taking my Nitrox course.  I
was diving EAN32 and at about 124FSW I hit a HARD narc.  I was buzzin for
the big time.  Didn't get turned until 130, so I was pushin' very high po2's
for 20 seconds or so. I had previoiusly been deeper on air and could notice
no narcosis at all.

        I don't pretend to know if hi p02's had anything to do with this but
that's what happened.

        BTW, no high po2 flames (they burn too hot)!
