Michel, the guy has plenty of experience, much of it far more extensive than mine. I can not breath water, and neither can anyone else. What difference does it make? I was just worried that JJ may have damaged his trigger finger or that the "victim" had breathed some of my deco gas - I would really have been pissed. As soon as I could revive him ( I had to shake him and slap him around), I ripped the oxygen regulator from his mouth and demanded to know how much of my gas he had sucked down. He assured me that he did the right thing, and breathed water instead. My next concern was that he would be late for dinner at Lucy's, so I called for an ambulance for JJ, and I went to the hospital and drew out the directions to Lucy Ho's in the emergency room for the victim. Luckily, the victim found Lucy Ho's right at 7:00. The only lesson to be learned here is that when you have 250 cubic feet of gas on you, and a buddy , you are better off not breathing the water. I used to be a lifeguard for a long time when I was in school. I actually had people drown on me in swimming pools, although I got them all back. I even had a kid drown on me in the baby pool - got it back , too. Don't want to drown? Stay out of the water. This is what I recommend for the entire cave-diving community. And, tripple this.- G On Wed, 07 Aug 96, mtherr1@PO*.mc*.ca* wrote: >On Wed, 7 Aug 1996, jkg@cc*.ga*.ed* (Jim Greenlee) wrote: > >>Only four people know what happened on that dive - JJ, Anthony, >>Dittner, and the victim.
