Tim, is it correct to assume that the silver cad is about 1.5 the enregy density of the nickel cad, and thus 3 times the lead acid, or is it only 1.25 times the nickel cad, and thus 2.5 times the lead acid. Which did you mean? I have finally gotten the dry cell nickels to where they are 100% reliable in charging, discharging, and condition. There are some serious tricks to this , expecially in my application, which they ar not intended for. You may find that the exotics that you miltitary guys refer to have an appication that is as close to an ideal state for any "cad" battery as is possible- outer space, where, as you know, it is a little cooler than inside my scooter.
