  It is always amazing that people do instictively something that they have no 
experience with - take the reg you are breathing when they panic. I guess if 
they are trained panickers they would unstuff a hose for you and suck on that, 
or is there something wrong with that logic? 

   I forgot about the "climbing" - that is the worst. I was a lifeguard when I 
was a kid, and they all climbed. I used to hold them under until they quit, but 
that won't work with a bc on.

   That is a scary story , Ralph - you could have been drowned at the surface.

am always amazed at anyone who can teach diving or flying. - G
