In the US, an instructor's professional underwater liability insurance policy premium will cost somewhere between $300 and $600 depending on limits, program levels, etc. As a certified public accountant, my professional liability insurance premium runs about 10 times that much for about the same coverage. Some of this can be explained by the relative risk and probability of an insurance company payout.
