Presumably Francis and Sylvia Le Guen's 1983 expedition. Using Aquazepps they beat the Australian 1982 swimming effort in Cocklebiddy (Hugh Morrison, Ron Allum, Peter Rogers), adding 1790m beyond Toad Hall. Not to be outdone, a team of 6 swimming Australian divers (Morrison, Allum, Rogers, Jones, Prust and Morrison) revisited the site (October 1983) and this resulted in Hugh Morrison adding to the end of the French line by abandoning his backmounts for a cylinder under his arm. This record stood until Chris Brown's (scooter assisted) 1995 expedition added another 20m (from memory). Chris' expedition was well covered on this list by expeditioner David Doolette.
