I took an equipment maintainance course, and it's one of my favorite courses so far. Learned a lot of valuable stuff. I don't realy want to do a field repair when risks of failure are unacceptable, but it is a great skill to have. I'm also the sort of person who wants to know what's going on inside my black boxes. Saw a show on a Cuban team raising an old boat. They couldn't get much equipment, and they had a guy making their own poppit seats, just carving them out of plastic sheets and sanding them down. I'm not going to 500 feet on that rig, but it is nice to have more options. ------------------------------- Mars still needs women. ======================================================= Roger Carlson w 310-812-0430 somewhere off Hermosa Beach, CA f 310-812-1363 roger@ch*.sp*.tr*.co* h 310-frogger =======================================================
