What the hell do you think goes on in every kind of product development there is? That it's done in a vacuum? Don't you realize that everyone who ever made a cola, a dive light, a camera, a flipper, a rebreather, or a condom looked at what some other guy made first, to see what else could be done/improved? EVERYONE who ever made anything researches, compares, asks questions, etc. That's a CRIME? Anyone who *doesn't* research what already works is an idiot. Do you think that the idea of a way to get thru a cave faster using rechargeable batteries in a pressure housing with a motor and a prop and a trigger just came to Gavin in a dream? Yikes! This whole "threat" business appears to be a manufactured one, designed to foment hostility against a "common enemy", and thereby cement esprit de corps. Which in itself is a shrewd and excellent tactic. Ever read any history or tactics? If you had, you'd recognize the manipulation. Classic, obvious, transparent -- but it works! ;-) Thanks for the genuine and earnest spirit in your comments to me. I fully recognize that it is such spirit and loyalty that makes WKPP so good at what it does.
