This is nothing ....

In Queensland (Australia) the government has 
decided that a dive boat is a workplace and that
dive boat operators come under the Workplace 
Health and Safety act !

Therefore diving deeper than 39m is like 
a 'dangerous work practice' (or I suppose
some would say breathing from the short hose
is like using an uninsulated power tool.)

Trust governments to find a way to regulate us,
next step will be a diving license and then a
diving tax.

(This has probably come about from the brisk
trade that decompression chambers do on the 
barrier reef.)
