The only reason I chose that number is that it represents the limit of air diving for me, which means I could just take a tank of air for a bailout. Anything deeper than that requires (for me) greater reliability and intelligent bailout design, gas switching capability, etc., none of which are practical (or are extremely inefficient) on the BioMarine design.
