Sorry Dennis, I'm sure the 500 will be great for photographers in shallow 
water, but unless it's drastically different than the 15/16 (which it 
can't be if it's had 3.5 million hours of testing), then I have no 
interest in trusting my life to it at depths greater than about 180 feet. 
This is my opinion - I have absolutely nothing to gain by participating 
in rebreather wars on the net so I will cease to do so henceforth.
