Why not dive Hogarthian open water? Surely if you need to share, then 
potentially you have a scared diver who would be better 7ft away from you. 
I know you wouldn't dive with a stroke, but that doesn't stop one on the 
same boat trip spotting you in the water and making a beeline for your reg 
when he's used up all his air. After all, if he cannot watch his guage why 
should he watch his buddy?

Probably something wrong with my logic, but if you don't ask you don't 
learn.
