A Peter The tables are buhlmann z 16 based (16 tissue model) they are calculated as if the dive is 4 feet deeper than it is and we add in that it computes you have 2% more inert gas than is in the mix. This makes them slightly conservative but hopefully gives a window of protection for us older divers and those who do not maintain good physcial condition.
