This point brought to mind an incident about a year ago when I was
arriving at the Treffpunkt where two out-of-town divers were waiting for
me. I had tanks for each of us, freshly filled, in the back of my car. As
I stopped to wait for the traffic so I could make a left, the guy in the
pickup truck behind me took offense and sped up behind me, screeching to
a halt a mere inch or two from my rear bumper. My comment at the time
was, "If he'd hit me, he'd have gotten a big surprise!"

Since this thread started, I've thought a few times about a sticker for
the back of my car. What should it say?

"Compressed gas on board"
"High-pressure cylinders on board. Do not tailgate."
"Caution....."

I would think that those of you who routinely travel with oxygen and
helium on board might have some real concerns along these lines.
