As far as I'm concerned, the only responsibility of the instructor is to make sure the student understands that if the student gets hurt or killed underwater, it's the student's fault. Maybe if instructors were better about this, there would be fewer "Never, Evers" out there. Any moron, regardless of how little knowledge he/she has, should understand how unnatural it is for a human to go underwater. Aloha, Rich
