Dave, if you were not such a hoover your reg would not freeze. Try a
     air
of Nike's or Asics Gel Light Trainers for the hoovery, or a speedo and
a set of goggles. The second stage Odin is a piece of shit, as is
everything made by Sherwood. When are you coming down to Florida so we
can get you squared away? The lake shit is making you nuts

Good one George. A good side splitter before my TGIF walk out the
door. I though you gave up squares like the DR light. Sorry to burst
your bubble, but I'm not a Hoover and my regs don't freeze. That was
some other Dave guy, I don't know what his problem is. I'm a
letterman in Cross Country (long distance running), but my knees gave
out on all those hills and they got nailed in a car wreck along with
my back. They've all actually gotten better than most people's this
last year in part due to all the scuba exercise with double tanks and
O2 exposure. I still can't run distance so I bike.

At any rate, I guess you'll have to find some other Hoover for all
     those SMD fantasies you have.

The first and last reg I had freeze up on me was a rental off Key
Largo. Been ice diving and Great Lakes diving enough to get a
free-flow, but my Odins and Maximus (argon) have held up. The Odin
can be a wicked B---h at times, but mine work great, save clearing on
the buddy pass off. That simply sucks, kind a like not being able to
breath water. Still better than having warm water crap that fails and
makes you pass off as I train to clear the Odin w/o thinking about it.
So do my buds. I've never had one leak in current that you can't
scooter against. Your Odin leak problem must be due to that oversized
mouth of yours or too much raw fish oil eating the valve away.

I was told that the Brute is good for an O2 reg as the reg was
designed for O2 use with the unbalance piston and easy to clean. I
think that info came from Brad. Clearly, it won't breath deep, but
you don't want a drag of the O2 bong at 200 anyway now do you? What
do you think about it other than your standard farting about doing
nothing special for O2? I need another deco reg that's easy to
clean/service and have enough Odins to piss you off already!

What's driving me nuts is not diving the lakes or anywhere else that's
good. Quarries are like a bad lover (before I married), you had sex,
     but...

It'll be a while till I seriously do Florida stuff as I have to get a
rental house in Bama fixed up for my mom who's retiring and needs the
rent income to live by. Priorities you know. Every weekend is spent
in Alabama or on the job till that's taken care of. I do get a slice
of the income, which you bet I'll spend diving!
