What is the story? Are the new 104's exactly the same as the old? > Are they more negative? Anybody done any dives with these new tanks? "Bullshit" I says. Lloyd's got the tanks on Monday. I'm assuming you talked to this person yesterday or Tuesday. Dive Rite apparently got the tanks themselves like the middle of last week. So this means that the soonest this person could have gotten these new 104's was probably Monday. I highly doubt if he got the tanks on Monday he could give a valid review of them by Wednesday to another dive shop. Chances are the person you were talking to was either confused, or misinformed. The individual who owned the tanks probably owned the Pressed Steel 121's, and that's what he was referring to. However, it's interesting to note that the people I know with the PST 121's all love them. You know, I don't like digging up dirty laundry, and the only reason I'm bothering to reply to this message (it was sent to me as well as cavers and techdiver, I'm not on cavers or techdiver and don't care to be, and don't read the archives), but wasn't Water World the same place that asked me to see my full cave card when I wanted to buy some viton O-Rings a year ago because they don't sell "viton o-rings to just anybody"? Rodger, you should have asked the individual how much experience he or she had with the new 104's, and the old 104's for that matter. There are 1 or 2 people who work there that I've met who know their stuff (Andrew comes to mind), but a few who need to quit reading and start diving. Doing a 4 hour dive in Little River is not "daring", "brave", or "impressive", it's just plain stupid. You can swim to the end of the line in 90 minutes and get out with 35 of deco. Ken
