As the members of this list have been previously made aware from other members on this list, you have heard or read about the plight of the Miskito Coast Indian divers of Honduras and Nicaragua. A few notable individuals, under the auspices of Sub Ocean Safety (SOS),are trying to make a difference. There is a June 12th fundraiser being organized by SOS. Plans are to cross Lake Pontchartrain, underwater, all 24 miles. I issue a challenge as follows to the members of this list. *********************** In addition to my already pledged $500... I will match 10 cents on the dollar to each dollar raised by members of these dive forums, starting today and ending on June 10. My maximum additional match to be limited to another $500...
