Subject: Questions: U/W Video Lights


Need answers to a couple of questions, please

Does anyone have actual diving/use experience with the following systems
used as video light sources? (I think using them for video is likely to be
harder on the equipment than using them as a travel/dive light source -
The video gets switched on and off a lot and requires *big* > 100w lamps.)

Specifically will they hold up to the usual fairly rough treatment you get
on a boat and/or depth greater than 150'. I know they're *rated* at 300',
but does someone have actual experience with any of these products at 150'
- 250'?  Are they reliable? Are there better choices?

(1) DiveRite Modular Lighting System

(2) OMS system

(3) American Underwater Lighting Eclipse light (24v)

(4) Light & Motion 30w x2 system powered by Nakita NiCads

Your own personal favorite light video or dive? (most can be adapted to
video) Your favorite vid camera housing manufacturer?
