>A diver died in the area (Puget Sound) last weekend. Many questions are >being asked, but this topmost one seems most relevant. Anyone have an >answer? I haven't heard exactly what caused the death, but the diver was doing a dive at Waterman Point which is a currenty wall dive that bottoms out at about 180+. The currents on this dive can do some nasty things to you if you time the tides wrong. If the diver had an equipment problem I can see how something like this can happen especially if he panicked. I heard rumors that the diver was fairly new to the sport, but I don't know if that is true. Jon
