Brenden, Why don't you take a trip to Pompano Beach Florida, and do a few dives with Jim Mims of Ocean Diving Schools. This is the top tech shop in Florida, George Irvine dives with these guys, Tom Mount dives with these guys, the list goes on and on. Go on a few of their transitional dives like the Hydro Atlantic (deck at 130, bottom at 175). Enjoy some of the worlds best deep diving, even without getting to serious technical depths over 200 fsw. Meet some real dive professionals in tech diving, and then you'll have a better idea of what to look for locally.
