I get about 4 to 6 dives from a 2 litre 200 bar cylinder, on 50-60m
dives, using fairly thick undergarments. The amount of argon used will
be roughly proportional to the absolute pressure on the bottom, assuming
no fluctuations in bottom depth. Thus, a 0.4 litre cylinder (full)
should be ok providing it is full and the dive is not too deep.

Bear in mind that if you are decanting into the 0.4l cylinder from a
larger supply cylinder, you soon stop getting a full 200 bar as the
pressure in the supply cylinder progressively drops. With my 2 litre
cylinder, I am ok providing I can get about 50bar. Using a 0.4 litre
cylinder, you will probably need a booster pump so as to get an
acceptable pressure in it from a part-full supply cylinder.
