Steve, Yes I have made two mix dives to the depths you reference and deeper as rep dives. I ususally have at least a four hour surface interval for these excursions. I use two table procedures one is the waterproof tables by IANTD and todate the proplanner for the exact dive profiles. I know some instructors who do two training dives a day on gas. To date I have no knowledge of anyone taking a hit doing this. It will certainly be safer to do two mix dives than two air dives to those depths.
