Mike, I whole heartedly agree with you. Policing the cave diving industry is wrong. Whenever politicians get involved with anything they screw it up! Besides, Skiles and others have been diving longer than most of the people on this list. The good exposure he brings to cave diving through his videography will be good for the whole cave diving community. He gets national exposure which brings us credibility. People say he's an opportunist...but if I could make my living cave diving, too..I'd do it! I seriously doubt he had anything to do with what ever attempt was made to shut G down. It's not his style.
