Re, this tempest...

While I have never known Carl to lie or bend the truth, there is =
something to keep in mind here.  Before roundly condemning Wes, Bill, =
et. al., get the facts.  Make sure that exactly what you "know" is =
factual evidence and not somebody's interpretation of what someone =
else told them.

I would like to hear/see _objective_ evidence that the people named =
(Bill, Wes, etc.) are trying to trash WKPP (probably a self-defeating =
endeavour were they so stupid as to try).  That they are trying to =
get permits to dive Wakulla, I have little doubt.  Hell, _I'd_ like =
to get permits to dive Wakulla, and I'm not a certified cave diver =
::grin::  'Course, I'd also like a 200 foot yacht and a private =
helicopter and=8A

Meanwhile, I would think that WKPP has little or naught to fear.  =
They've done excellent work with the caves and I don't believe that =
anyone is going to revoke their permits on the basis of expressed =
opinions on the internet.
