FWIW - I use the 104's with a drysuit, the al 80's without. I use al stages, 40's in ocean, 80's in cave. The swing in buoyancy on either side of neutral is what I want - not too heavy at the start, floating at the end. The back is still negative all the way. For cave, you must remember we need speed as well , and the lux al 80 has it all for this work. In the ocean, I would not do enough bottom time to need an 80 of anything staged. We need the 104 go give us negative buoyancy all the way down to no gas , in case of an emergency, we do not want to have to struggle with positive buoyancy. Empty 80's would be jettisoned in this case. Dave, for cave, we know what we are doing. For wreck, who cares? -G
