We use the Odin first stages with either the Scuba Pro G250 or the Beuchat VX10 (same as apex or zeigle) seconds. The posieden seconds require special hoses and fitting that have unnecesary pressure relief valeves built into them which are hard to get in custom lengths, are wet in current or scootering, fill with water when not in use, and do not breath as evenly as the others mentioned. The problem with new odins is that they have a built-in pressure relief valve. I have one as a backup argon reg, and have not even looked it over yet to see if the valve can be plugged. I would assume it can be for use as a primary reg. All of my others are older. In general, get regs that do not have the special fittings or hoses, and ones that you can buy the parts for to service. Remember that posieden needs "special" tools. This is easy to overcome: the wrench can be cut from a piece of aluminum, or you can pay 100 for it, and the spanner wrenches are readily available at any power transmission supply place for the real (non-scuba) price. After youget past that, the odin is the easiest reg to rebuild. Also , the G250 second is easy. - G
