Wish this thread was on another list where it belongs, BUT... I'd
like to quote from Dr Allan Kayle's "Safe Diving: A medical handbook
for Scuba divers":

Lactation: "Is it safe to dive while breast feeding?"  The answer is
yes.  Diving will not affect breast milk production nor predispose to
milk retention and mastitis.  Although diving will cause a
temporarily increased nitrogen partial pressure in unreleased breast
milk, feeding is done at ambient pressure and any excess gas load to
the baby will be minimal, or relieved with a good burp.

So, yes, yes, yes, it is safe to dive while breastfeeding!
