Rod,

Odyssey has not gone belly up. Who the fuck is telling you shit like this,
and why the hell don't you check the validity of your information before you
make public posts???? Is Biomarine paying you to play "information
terrorist" or something ;) ??? I really would like to know who is saying
this shit, especially when it effects my credibility, and after I just
posted that Odyssey was "NOT" going belly up, and in fact, could have just
made a spectacular deal. I just spoke to Odyssey, not five minutes ago, and
was told that their economic health is quite good, and they have extremely
low debt service, by any standards.
I'd like a shot at whoever the asshole is who is telling you this stuff.

Next time you address a question to me, and I offer you the courtesy of
answering it, I'd expect the courtesy of your e-mailing me back if you have
a problem with my answer....

I don't know that Biomarine, or any other rebreather company has you on
payroll or perks, in order for you to help them with advertorial
misinformation and blatant attacks on superior rebreathers, but considering
what I've just read from you, I have told Odyssey that they can NOT treat
you as an unbiased rebreather user, but only as a "mouthpiece" for some
other rebreather company----and that they should treat any correspondance
with you in the same way most of us would with Mike Cochran !

I have recieved "zero dollars" from Odyssey and have NO agreement and NO
contract (before, now, or any time in the future) with them to assist their
marketing of image or anything else...I have posted information about them
because I beleive they represent a valuable technology to the members of
this list, and because I found them to be far superior to many much more
well heeled and "big AD Budget" type manufacturers who had waded into the
rebreather market. I like to be on top of "whats Best" because I have an
online dive magazine, and I like "it" to be a resource for divers, meaning,
No one has a better reason to get on the Internet with posts about what they
really believe is best, than do I. ....You could also take this to mean that
I am CLEARLY LESS BIASED about any particular manufacturers than YOU are.
If I sound pissed off, its because I am.
