Mike, always clip it off to the right shoulder d-ring. Hanging it will get in 
the scooter, it will freeflow, it will catch on things, it will confuse you,
and 
it is not neat and clean and orderly ( an ass biter). I never hang a reg around 
my neck. When I an not using one, it goes back whre it belongs, like on the 
stage tank, clipped off. To share, it is easy to get it unclipped, and remember 
if you can not, you must be breathing somethng else that you can share, and can 
go to your backup, which , of course, is always right around you neck. -G
