I would expect that WKPP > would not add NN risk to a cave dive, even for a short time. George understands the risks of narcosis better than most people on this list. He's one of the few I've encountered who also understands why heliox (i.e., NO narcosis) is not an ideal mixture either. If he believes the narcosis risks from switching to air at 190 are within acceptible limits (when weighing other potential risks as well as logistical considerations), then I believe, for his set of circumstances, he is right. His strict limit of 130 feet EAD (well, O.K., more like 140 feet when you factor the O2) during the working portion of the dive speaks for itself. The naive person would say "lower PN2 = safer at all times". George is not naive. But again, I'll let him answer for himself (as I should have done the first time). Aloha, Rich
