Note that the the two glove rings have a matching groove and ridge. Anyway, if you keep the rounded edge of the gloves up against the outer edge of the ring (the edge away from your body) it seals pretty well. I've dove with them for years, and rarely have a leak. I've even learned how to put the gloves on without any help, if you can believe that! They do get a bit of squeeze at depth unless you stick something through your wrist seal so more air can get in, but it never gets that uncomfortable. I have seen some other glove/ring systems that look superior, but in the meantime I keep using the VIking since it is "what I got"! Take care, david
