I now have an Argon pony cylinder 3ltr to try out this season for my diving out in the English Channel. There seems to be different schools of thought as to where and how this should be mounted. For cave diving it seems to have it mounted at the front is prefered. I am into wreck diving and would rather have it on my back with my twin set as I like to keep things as uncluttered as possible in front of me. Soon in the UK a manufacturer is bringing out a cylinder attachment system suitable for mounting pony cylinders and/or cylindrical battery housings to the twin set. Thuis will enable you to slide the unit on to the set and lock with a pin arrangement. I will probably go this route ultimately, however for the moment I am considering simply mounting it in between the cylinders of my twin set. What are the arguements for and against the various approaches ? Regards Lawrence TDI Extended Range
