The IANTD policy is to train all those who are qualified per IANTD standards to trimix instructor. The same policy prohibits those who are not qualified to attend a trimix instructor IEC. Thus wanna be's vs qualified to be makes a vast difference. I can assure you all who are qualified will be given the ability to attend an IEC. Many wanna be's are not qualified and thus cannot attend an IEC until they have developed the qualifications to be eligible. We refer to this as quality control and looking out for the safety of technical diving.
